Vroscaz recently adopted a cat who can dematerialize into a black mist.
He often sits on his shoulders like a scarf. They’re best buds
People saying it’s “no big deal” for a bunch of strangers to take children to a strange place if “it’s only temporary” (and we don’t actually have a guarantee they all see their families again in any particular time frame, by the fucking way) apparently don’t remember being small children themselves and any mysterious separation from their parents being the single most terrifying, scarring nightmare they could fathom at the time.
Small children have a psychological dependency on the presence of loved ones by their very biological fucking nature. Keeping them apart for extended periods of time against their will is as mentally damaging to them as just straight up beating them or worse.
